The South African media is covering the tragedy in Orlando, Florida, where nearly 50 people were killed, our hearts go out to their family members; the South African media also recently covered the passing of Muhammad Ali, may God rest his soul. These are two major stories that happened in America in June of 2016 and they line the front cover of newspapers in South Africa.

We saw the live broadcast of Muhammad Ali’s memorial service on the South African Broadcast Corporation channel. We have also been extensively watching the alarming reports on CNN, of the tragedy in Orlando, Florida, by simply turning on the television set in our hotel room in South Africa.
On a lighter note, the History Channel’s highly-awaited broadcast of “Roots" is being promoted on large banners on the streets of Johannesburg and also on television—that’s not all that’s being promoted. Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are in South Africa and are heavily promoting the American television series Empire, even a couple of people have asked us if we were with the Empire group.

On the political side, many people have ask us for our thoughts on Donald Trump.

Amazing. So it’s truly "a small world after all."
